Basel Cellars

       我们的巴塞尔酿酒师是Ned Morris(内德•莫里斯)。他有着丰富的知识和经验,包括澳大利亚Penfold's McGill Estate(奔富酒园玛格尔庄园)广泛的酒侍培训以及在食品化学、生物化学和微生物学领域的综合硕士学位。

       内德•莫里斯的酿酒哲学完美权衡了古老的传统工艺和现代科技。他专注于酿造醇厚浓郁的葡萄酒,且带有平滑饱满的丹宁和天鹅绒般质感。内德•莫里斯计划创造这样的葡萄酒---有长久窖藏潜力之中透露着细腻的线条,且在释放的时候显得极其可亲。内德•莫里斯说:“我的目标是展示我们庄园葡萄园独特的水果面貌以及我们在此所拥有的绝妙场地。我想要展示华盛顿庄园水果的品质。所以这些葡萄园和水果应该属于葡萄酒的最前沿,而丹宁、架子和橡木作为支撑水果的支架和骨干”。

       Our Winemaker at Basel Cellars is Ned Morris. Ned comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience, including extensive Sommelier training at Penfold’s McGill Estate in Australia and an integrated Masters Degree from Oregon State University in Food Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Microbiology.

     Ned’s Winemaking philosophy balances old-world traditional techniques with modern science and technology. He is focused on making wines that are big and full-

bodied, but with smooth generous tannins and velvety rich textures. Heaims to create wines that walk a fine line between having long cellaring potential, yet are very approachable upon release. “My goal is to display the unique fruit profiles of our Estate vineyards, and the special place we have here.”
